Opt-in Communities
Opt-in communities are a group of people who voluntarily participate in a group based on a shared interest. Opt-in Communities represent one of the most unique opportunities to market to a select audience of people who share common interests, language, purchasing patterns, and perspectives.
Find customers who are interested in what you have to offer
  As a marketer, getting access to an opt-in community means that you are able to target your products and messages to the specific audience that you want to sell to and influence through your brand and messages. Unlike traditional advertising, where you have many different groups looking at your messages, targeting opt-in communities gives you the opportunity to reach exactly the people that you want to address without spending marketing dollars to reach people not in your target audience.
Voluntary Sign-up
  Opt-in Communities are a critical component of the XTRM Strategy because the entire community of XTRM members is one large Opt-in Community. XTRM members voluntarily sign up to XTRM in order to take advantage of the products and services that we offer to members. This end-user driven and end-user generated content means that individuals are self-creating and self-editing information about their age, income, interests, etc.
Required for Event Registration and Award Distribution
  In order to register for an event that is being run by an XTRM promoter or to win award offered by XTRM sponsors, individuals sign up to XTRM .
  As a result the data on XTRM members is accurate and current.
Market Segmentation Support
  Marketers who want to reach specific groups are able to segment the market and use a variety of different approaches, such as performance payouts in cash or manufacturer dollars, merchandise or merchandise discount awards to a very narrow or a very broad audience. Since all XTRM members are registered, previous response to marketing programs are tracked and competitor performance is authenticated with event promoters, marketers get access to their target audience and get comprehensive data on the responses to each distinct program or promotion.
Confidentiality assured
  XTRM Members information is not given to marketers unless there is an existing or new business relationship that has been created, such as an event registration or redemption of an award. XTRM members are therefore confident that they are not going to be spammed with communication and offers that they do not want or are not interested in receiving.
