Palo Alto, CA,
May 10, 2009–
XTRM Sports Network AMA Supermoto Championships is pleased to announce that we
will be adding 3 ATV Quads classes to race on Supermoto Track at South Point
Casino during Round Three - May 29-31st, 2009.
This will bring a new dimension to the Supermoto series and
add an exciting new class. The quads will be racing on the same layout as
Supermoto which will run throughout the casino property. The huge layout will
be an indoor and outdoor track to provide plenty of spectator excitement and a
super challenge to all the racers involved… it will be truly off-the-hook!
The monster sized track will wind its way throughout casino property. The dirt
sections will run through two separate buildings with big air and whoops. The
paved sections will be twisting it way around the entire casino site with a
passage through the main hotel sign!
There will be three quad classes - Beginner/novice open, Intermediate/expert
Open and Pro Open. The pro open class will run on Sunday with the pro race
series with the pro puyrse of $2,000.
"Round Three is shaping to be the finest round of the Series",
says Myron Short, head of race operations.
"by adding the quads it’s going to bring an awesome new dimension to this race and these guys really know how to 'hang it out'."
